2023 Retreat
Retreat attendees gathered at the Clocktower Inn, 181 E. Santa Clara Street in Ventura, on Friday and Saturday September 22 & 23 from 8am to 8pm for some quality quilting time. This was an opportunity to visit with “quilty” friends, share ideas, encourage each other, and maybe finish a WIP (work in progress) or start a new project.
Each participant was provided with 4’ of space (1/2 of an 8’ table) to set up their sewing machines, organize the materials they brought, and lay out their work space. A table with a cutting mat, a design wall, and ironing boards (with irons) were available for use throughout the day. In this relaxed environment quilters were free to take breaks, go for lunch, chat with their neighbors, or focus on the work at hand, undistracted by every day interruptions.
There was also a special event at superbuzzy fabric store on Friday evening with refreshments & a raffle!
