Meeting Minutes!

Yo, Block Builders!

Generation Q is hosting a quilt block design contest at their site. There’s a prize involved…and your design might be published in their Winter 2012 issue! Click here for more info.

Block Builder is a simple game based on a random doodle, which you turn into a quilt block design, based on (your) whim and fancy.  Our Scott Hansen creates the doodle, or starter block, as it’s properly known, and then it’s up to you to make something wonderful of it.

Modern Mystery Quilt!

Hi all! I just learned that Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr (of FunQuilts fame) have teamed up with the American Quilter’s Society and American Quilter magazine and developed a Modern Mystery Quilt! The first and second of 6 blocks were released on September 12th and 19th, with the remaining 4 blocks to be released each following Wednesday. Any guesses as to how to solve the mystery? What fun!
