Ventura Modern Quilt Guild seeks to create a vibrant community of Modern Quilters who are interested in exploring new possibilities and expanding their horizons. This is a place where you can find encouragement and inspiration for your creative journey with fabric.
Founded in January 2012, VMQG is a branch guild of The Modern Quilt Guild. We offer monthly meetings with an opportunity to share your work, as well as guest speakers, group challenges, “Sewcials”, workshops, and more.
Our mission is to foster creativity and personal expression in a supportive, fun environment. Whether you are a beginning quilter who is drawn to the modern aesthetic, an experienced quilter looking for new inspiration, or you just want to know what’s going on in the world of quilting, you have a place in VMQG.
Join Us!
- Membership: VMQG Membership fees are $50/year. Come on by a VMQG Meeting (every second Monday of the month) to get to know us! As a non-Member, your first meeting is free and second is $5. After that, you’re welcome to join our Guild — we’d love to have you.
